Based in Cape Town and serving primarily EMEA and APAC leaders, Simon enjoys living and working in the transformational environment of South Africa. He experiences this as a powerful springboard in his coaching work to be in touch with the dynamics of emerging markets and the multiplicity of challenges leaders face integrating into more developed markets and growth pressures.
Simon has been a development specialist since the start of his career and has extensive experience with Microsoft as a client. He has extensive coach supervision experience as he ran a large international coaching business for 8 years.
Simon received his Honours B SocSci from the University of Cape Town major in Organisational Psychology. After several years of leadership development consulting, Simon yearned for a more skillful method, a deeper approach and more sustainable results. He made the shift and focused into full time executive coaching. He trained as an Integral Business Coach through The Integral Coaching Centre and is registered as a Professional Coach through COMENSA (Coaches and Mentors South Africa). Subsequent training included becoming an accredited Thinking Environment CoachTM. He is also trained as a Dialogue Facilitator through Collaborative Changeworks, an Advanced Presencing Practitioner through the Presencing Institute, and as a Body Spin Practitioner through Life Alignment International.
His most recent business interests are centred around scaling the impact of coaching into broader populations and also to positively impact micro-business start-up entrepreneurs. Simon follows an emergent approach which allows people to access depth within themselves and connect to their ???????highest future potential as it emerges???????. His focus is linking the external journey of success with the inner journey of connection with Self. As a coach he brings a calm, appreciative and wise presence and is comfortable to ???????walk at the edge??????? wherever clients need to go and want to explore.
