Alison worked in the NHS for many years after qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 1997 from Sheffield Hallam University. She is passionate about the NHS and encouraging all to thrive in whatever their work, home or life situation. Alison specialised in upper limb trauma and burns also studying to qualify as a field work educator and completed various extended counselling and motivational interviewing skills training. Following a career break to care for her young (and old!) family, she returned to start her thinking time journey – successfully qualifying as a Time to Think coach 2021.
Alison is one of four directors at Peak Health Coaching Ltd, which provides high quality education, training and consultancy in person centred care, including health coaching and patient activation.
As a co-director of Purposeful-Professionals Ltd, Alison offers transformative Time to Think coaching sessions for clients, including allied health care professionals and co-facilitates education and training programmes.
