Currently, Ashley leads the day-to-day operations of the Professional Services team at Queen Mary University’s School of Business and Management. He works closely with the Dean and Deputy Dean to align the business school’s strategic goals with its operational activities, fostering a cohesive and innovative environment. He is a member of the school’s Steering Group and Executive Committee. Ashley has a wealth of experience in leadership and business management acquired from working in the higher education, not-for-profit, and hospitality sectors. He has a BSc (Hons) in Hospitality Management and Related Services. Additionally, he holds both an Executive MBA and an MSc in Business and Management Research from Henley Business School. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, change management, business development, strategic and tactical marketing, and student recruitment in higher education. He also specialises in personal development, coaching, facilitation and collaborating with management and leadership teams. As a qualified Thinking Environment™ facilitator, Ashley is also a tutor at Queen Mary University’s School of Economics and Finance degree apprenticeship programmes, leading on personal development, presentation skills and workplace bullying and harassment.
