I am at the stage of my life where I feel I have wisdom, not because I have the answers, but because I have the questions, and can enable the best conversations in the moment to explore and create choices for my coachees.

My experiences with CEOs, senior leaders of many nationalities and global leadership teams have enabled me to evolve my own style of coaching. This incorporates many different approaches, underpinned with strong principles and beliefs that centre around: self-awareness and playing to strengths as the route to outstanding performance; building a strong foundation of trust with your team, peers and stakeholders; taking care of yourself first before you can take care of others and building followership.

My technical background started with a degree in Occupational Psychology and I have had an international career in human resources, including 25 years with Standard Chartered Bank which took me to Asia for 8 years. I had both generalist and specialist global HR roles, including setting up an internal coaching function which is still thriving today.  Latterly, I worked with two global CEOs to help build the performance of their executive teams.  Each year I undertake new professional training and most recently qualified as a Wellbeing coach and a Time to Think facilitator.

I set up my own coaching and leadership development consulting practice in September 2016 and my clients span both the private and public sector. I now have a niche global team of senior consultants who bring diverse and leading-edge practices and particularly enjoy building bespoke solutions. Together we are focussed on accelerating performance of individuals and teams and exploring the climate they are creating for others. This has involved building expertise in virtual leadership and understanding the impact of wellbeing on engagement and productivity. The feedback I receive suggests that my sessions are insightful, inspiring and fun.  I am a great listener and am known as someone who can challenge with grace and charm, but who also values honest conversations and commitment to change.

I’m keen to give back at this stage of my life and have a close association with Save the Children International, facilitating the CEO and top teams. I am also a trustee for Myeloma UK and the patron of Pink Dynasty, which supports disadvantaged women seeking entry into professional careers.

I have two adult sons and have a sports-orientated family. I regularly practice Pilates and have just started yoga. I enjoy dance, reading and maintaining worldwide friendships.
