Jo is an experienced executive coach and leadership consultant in both the public and private sector. She is currently coaching Chief Executives, Directors, Assistant Directors, GPs and Clinical chairs in a range of councils, NHS Trusts & CCGs. She also facilitates and coaches on a Women’s Leadership programme for an international pharmaceutical company. She is a coach/enabler for the national Systems Leadership/ Local Vision programme. She has facilitated and coached on the new Directors and Future Leaders programmes in Wales & England and led the Skills for Systems Leadership programmes for Directors of Public Health, as well as the national Leading for Change programme. She also coaches for the Marketing Academy, a charity developing the marketing leaders of tomorrow.
Having had a long and successful career in Board roles, both executive and non executive, in central and local government, in the NHS and charities, Jo has managed multi million pound budgets and complex portfolios.. Currently she is a Specially Appointed Commissioner at the Royal Chelsea Hospital (home of the Chelsea pensioners) and chair of Independent Age. She has been the chair of three national organisations: the National Skills Academy, The College of Social Work and 4Children. She is a Fellow of the RSA and was awarded an honorary Fellowship by the University of Bedfordshire.
