Julia is passionate about supporting people grow and develop, as she fundamentally believes that we can achieve whatever we want too if we choose to do so. This is what led her to be an Executive Coach and more recently a Coaching Supervisor. She has been coaching for eleven years and is an accredited Senior Practitioner Coach with the EMCC. She has worked with senior leaders, middle-managers and future leaders in both the Public and Private Sectors. Alongside her coaching work she is a visiting tutor on the Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching at Henley Business School. Her special area of interest is self-awareness and how to understand all aspects of our identity to be at our very best in all aspects of our lives. This sees her work focusing on self-awareness and behaviours in the workplace, so we have more choice, develop self-acceptance, lead more effectively and be an invaluable team member. This work has led to her undertaking a PhD project to explore the role of Self-Awareness in the development of the coach, and her research has revealed that the first stage of self-awareness is self-acceptance and self-connection.
Julia was inspired by the Thinking Environment Approach having spent a day with Nancy whilst at Henley Business School; she is keen to bring the approach into organizations to minimize work-place conflict and enhance performance.
