Laura Murphy is the founder of award winning mtc2 ltd and has been operating within the business consultancy, training and coaching field for over 15 years. She has an MBA, is a qualified teacher and highly experienced executive coach who utilises a positive psychology approach.
Her specialism is organisational development and, with a background in behavioural sciences, has worked across the private, public and voluntary sectors throughout the UK with many senior teams who face leadership or change challenges. She has extensive experience of working within health and social care, designing, delivering and quality assuring leadership interventions with the NHS Leadership Academy. Laura is also the founder of the award winning charity The WayfinderWoman Trust which was presented with the Queens Award for Voluntary Service in 2021 in recognition of the charity’s work in supporting women of working age to transform their lives.
Laura believes everyone and every organisation has potential if the right resources are being used in the right place, doing the right things. She helps organisations identify where this is, or is not, happening and works with individuals and teams to improve performance so they can achieve real success.
A full Faculty member of the Thinking Environment, Laura has written a number of industry publications, is an author and former business columnist. She is a Member of the Association for Coaching, the Chartered Management Institute and is an Associate Member of the CIPD.
