Tim qualified as a GP in 2000 after studying medicine at the University of Sheffield. He has a keen interest in communication skills and pain management and has undertaken additional training in NLP (Master Practitioner 2008) and Life Coaching (2013). Alongside his work as a GP and appraiser, Tim coaches doctors in training for the Yorkshire and Humber Postgraduate Deanery. He is a director of Peak Health Coaching Ltd, through which he provides education and training in person-centred approaches including health coaching. He is passionate about bringing his experience as Time to Think Coach, Facilitator and Supervisor, to the health and social care sectors to provide exactly the right environment for colleagues and patients to think brilliantly.
