Anna teaches English in an international school in Czechia and has experience coaching teens, young adults and professionals in an educational environment. She is committed to embedding coaching practices into education with a particular focus on cultivating a thinking environment where individuals can develop their independent thinking and personal growth as they move towards independence and self-awareness.
She brings a humanist perspective to her work, valuing the emotional intelligence and behaviours that underpin the Thinking Environment; in particular, Anna is drawn to the emphasis on equality and generative attention – qualities that are often missing in traditional classrooms but are profoundly transformative when introduced.
Anna also teaches coaching skills to her students, helping them experience the power of attention and autonomous thinking and supporting others to do the same. She believes that in a world increasingly shaped by AI thinking and fast answers, building habits of independent thinking is more important than ever and an essential part of education. She is convinced that the Thinking Environment offers a powerful way to help young people grow in autonomy, confidence, and clarity.
Her focus includes supporting mental health and anxiety support, neurodivergent needs and developing coaching approaches within pastoral care. For Anna, the Thinking Environment is not just a model, it’s a mindset that helps make education more respectful, inclusive, and progressive.
